Hi Kathy! How are you?? I’m so sorry that I haven’t emailed you sooner, I’ve been really busy which is great :-D.
Firstly you’ll be pleased to know that I managed to do all of my exams that I’d missed! and even better I averaged a 2:1 which is fantastic as I missed all the lectures etc. so I’m a very happy bunny!!!! Of course this means I’m now in my 3rd year at uni, and I’m loving being back.
I’ve been on nights out dancing, In fact I’m still in my PJs watching Saturday Kitchen with a cuppa as I was out past 2am yesterday 😀 I love the fact I can do what I want, dress up and dance :-D. I still have not tried alcohol yet, but I’m not that worried, I will when I feel ready but it’s no big deal to me at the moment.
Sugar is still fine! only problem is me stuffing myself silly with cookies, bye bye size 8 jeans LOL.
I organised my mum’s 50th birthday party, I’ve been shopping (lots n lots), I’ve started a counselling course on Tuesday evenings to get experience for my masters and I’m able to do my volunteering at the hospital once a week….. and so much more. I’ve even applied for part time jobs (need cash now I can go shopping haha)
So yeah I’m doing well, I don’t do the process very much, only if I’m having a bit of a dip or need a bit of confidence, which isn’t that often.
I went to see my uni doctors, she thought I was going in to be fitted for a permanent wheelchair and so was delighted when I told her I was better! I told her all about the process, thinking she would probably dismiss it, but she was really positive. I gave her details and she said she would look into/ Google it that night with the possibility to suggest it to people about it if they have ME etc.
Thank you so much for all you have done! 😀
Lots and lots of love Sara xxxx
